2015년 10월 23일 영국 출신의 세계적인 팝 스타 아델이

 3년 만에 새로운 싱글 '헬로(Hello)'를 발표했다.

전 세계의 음악팬들및 헤아릴 수도 없을 만큼 

많은 사람들에게 자주 들려질 명곡으로 찬사를 받는 

헬로의 가사 내용은 헤어진 연인에게 미안하다고 말하는 것이다. 

"I'm sorry, for everything that I've done." 

 내가 한 모든 것에 대해 미안하다고 말하고 있다

서울실용음악고등학교 보컬과에 재학중인 이예진

대한민국 여고생이 부른 아델의 'Hello'가 동영상 사이트 유튜브에서 큰 인기를 얻고 있다. 

일각에서는 싸이의 뒤를 잇는 '제 2의 유튜브 스타'가 탄생하는 것 아니냐는 추측도 나온다.

미 ABC 뉴스와 허핑턴 포스트 등 수십 개의 매체들은 2015년 11월 8일 한국의 한 학생이 

영국 출신 세계적인 싱어송라이터 아델의 'Hello'를 원곡자보다 더 훌륭하게 불렀다고 일제히 소개했다.

11월 5일 유튜브에 올라온 이 영상은 고작 4일 만에 635만뷰를 기록했다. 

영상 속 여고생은 깔끔하게 교복을 갖춰 입고 반주에 맞춰 열창하고 있다. 

여고생 뒤로는 피아노 반주를 해주고 있는 다른 학생이 보인다. 

세계적인 극찬을 받은 영상의 주인공은 서울실용음악고등학교 보컬과에 재학중인 이예진 양이다. 

이 양은 보도 이후 페이스북에 "많이 부족한 실력이지만 좋게 들어주셔서 너무 감사드린다"면서 

"앞으로 더 열심히 하겠다"고 글을 올려 화답했다.

3분30초의 이 영상에는 8만8000명이 넘는 사람들이 '좋아요'를 눌렀으며

 5600개 이상의 댓글이 달렸다. 

특히 영어와 한국어는 물론 스페인어 등의 댓글도 눈에 띄어 세계적인 인기를 실감케 했다.

외신들은 유튜브에 100편 이상의 아델 커버 영상이 올라와 있지만 

그 중 이 여고생의 실력이 최고라고 평가했다.

영상을 본 해외 네티즌들은 뜨거운 반응을 보냈다. 

한 네티즌은 "저 학생은 발전 가능성이 무궁무진하다"고 댓글을 달았으며

 또 다른 네티즌은 "영혼을 울리는 목소리, 정말 엄청난 실력"이라고 치켜세웠다. 

심지어 "나는 왜 이 영상에 '싫어요'를 누른 사람이 있는지 이해할 수 없다"며

 "감탄 그 자체"라는 반응을 보인 네티즌도 있었다
