미국의 팝 그룹 The Fifth Dimension이 1969년 발표한 메들리 송 Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In은  

영국 락 그룹 크림이 1967년 1월 스테레오 버젼으로 출시된 앨범 Fresh Cream 에 수록된 곡

 I Feel Free 노래의 전반부에서 베이시스트이자 보컬 잭 브루스가  

흐밍으로 부르는 리듬을 표절하여 전반부에 사용했다.

 Aquarius/Let the Sunshine In 노래는 1970년대 초기 

한국의 그룹 유영춘과 영사운드가 당시 서울 어느 일류 호텔의  

고정 출연 밴드로서 호텔 댄스 홀에서 연주를 하며 부르기도 했는데 

유영춘은 1980년대 중반기 MBC방송의 스타쇼에 출연하여 이 노래를 부르기도 했다.

이 노래는 전 세계적으로 1969년 가장 인기있는 노래 중 하나였으며

 미국에서는 빌보드 핫 100 (4월과 5월에 6주간)과 빌보드 차트에서 모두 1위를 차지했다. 

이곡은 또한 캐나다와 다른 지역의 판매 차트의 최상위를 차지했다. 

1969년 미국 빌보드 전체 챠트에는 2위를 차지했었다. 

이 노래는 5th Dimension 그룹에 의해 The Age of Aquarius라는 앨범에 발표 된 후

 1970년 그래미 상 시상식에서 그룹의 최우수 팝 보컬 공연과 

그해 최고의 음반 부문(7인치 비닐 싱글 레코드)에서 수상하였다.

 이 노래의 가사는 현재 "물고기 자리의 시대"와 달리 

세상이 곧 "물병 자리의 시대", 사랑과 빛과 인류의 시대로

 들어설 것이라는 점성술에 기반을 두고 있다. 

그들이 노래로 주장한 천체 변화의 상황은 

태양을 기준으로 목성과 화성이 지구와 일직선을 이룰때 

달이 7번째로 그 대열에 합류할 것이라고  했다.

이 천체의 변화는 20세기 말에 일어날 것이라고 노래했다.

그러나 점성술사들의 예언은 그와는 다르게. 

 2062년에서 2680년 사이에 발생할 것으로 예언했다
